One will admit that the Chrysler spin off Jeep is one of the automakers that produce the most masculine four wheel vehicle. Jeep has been known to release sturdy and powerful car only, yet this year, Jeep announced the coming of 2017 Jeep Renegade, a small crossover claimed to have one of the best design for 2017 upcoming year. Among other crossovers produced by Jeep, the 2017 Renegade is the smallest crossover ever produced by Jeep. However, even though it is small, Jeep promises to bring more than what’s meet the eyes. 2017 Jeep Renegade Exterior & interior
2017 Jeep Renegade comes with a sleek and fashionable design. While most Jeep usually sticks with mud and neutral color, this version of crossover has many variants of color. Jeep wanted the car to be the petite and modern car that is now the trend in the auto world. Some of the notable color choices are blue and red, which exudes luxury and trendiness. It has seven bars grille and detailed design that marked the brand. The car, though it is the smallest among other Jeep models, still stand stall when it comes to height. It has round headlights as well as rubber coated wheel bar. This is supposed to make 2017 Jeep Renegade, not only a trendy car but also built for heavy work.
The interior itself looks like the upgraded version of a normal semi-compact car. The room leg in the front seat is well-established, however, the rear seat may come as a bit tight in the legroom. This is probably what it costs to have smaller body. The 2017 Jeep Renegade is built with touch screen for navigation and the special Beats Audio music speakers that consist of nine. It also has seven airbags completed with rearview camera. Other safety devices like automatic parking and navigation are provided. However, the rear seat problem may cause discomfort.
Engine and Performance
The 2017 Jeep Renegade is powered with two machines. One of 1.4-liter turbocharged machine capable of producing 160 horsepower, 184 pounds of torque and manual gearbox of 6 speed, while the other is 2.4-liter machine with 175 pounds of torque capable of producing 180 horsepower. The latter machine is only available in Trailhawk version that also has 9 gearbox run in automatic instead of the manual one. The power train is designed to help the car survive in and road condition, from mud, sand, to snow. The fuel efficiency is in mediocre score with 25 mpg for the first machine and 27 mpg for the second machine.
Release Date & Price
For the release of the car, it is expected for this crossover to be released soon as 2017 is approaching. The price itself is ranging depend on the variety of the car. For the cheapest 2017 Jeep Renegade is the Sport version with approximately $18,000, while for the Latitude version is about $21,000 and the Limited version is about $25,000 and as for the Trailhawk that uses the more powerful machine is priced around $26,000.
