When looking at the development of double cabin car segmentation, especially in the capital, growth is classified as lethargic even deserted enthusiasts. Because, this segment is intended as a hard worker figure so much seen in various regions that are blessed with many natural resources. So no wonder if many ATPM who compete to take a position as a market leader because the prospective buyers are big companies that increasingly developing over time. One of the manufacturers that fill this segment is Chevrolet, even though the product is called Colorado. Chevy Colorado Diesel Mpg was first released on November 5, 2011 in Thailand to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Chevrolet. For design, this car uses the same base as the Chevrolet Trailblazer in the SUV segment. The same goes for Toyota Hilux, Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Strada Triton or Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.
In the local market, Chevy Colorado Diesel Mpg has a twin that is Isuzu D-Max that also becomes rival in the same segment. Of course, this reminds us of the cooperation made between Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia or Mazda BT-50 Gen1 and Ford Ranger Gen2 a few years ago. Some other competitors include Mitsubishi Strada Triton, Toyota Hilux, Isuzu D-Max Gen2, Ford Ranger Gen3 (T6), Nissan Navara Gen2, and also Mazda BT-50 Pro. Entering the facelift, Chevy Colorado Diesel Mpg gets new rivals namely Nissan Navara NP300, Mazda BT-50 Pro, and All New Mitsubishi Triton. And then, not stopping here, we are going to talk about the exterior of this badass car.
Exterior of Chevy Colorado Diesel Mpg
At the front, Chevy Colorado Diesel Mpg uses a frightening yet elegant design as well as aerodynamically characteristic of Chevrolet, which is a dual port grille, surrounded by chrome accents (LTZ). For the main, Chevrolet Colorado has been equipped with a pair of large projectors that further reinforce the design is very frightening. Particularly on LTZ variants, a pair of square fog lamps serves as standard features to help driver visibility when lighting conditions are poor. Cabin space provided larger than the extended cab variant or additional cabin. But the back tub area for the extended cab variant is much longer than the double cab variant. Because the wheelbase of both variants is the same, it makes no difference. From this side, the look of Chevrolet Colorado looks very stylish, a little indentation in the back area between the tub and cabin make it seem elegant.
As for the rear, this Chevrolet Colorado looks very handsome. At first glance, it’s almost similar to Toyota Hilux Gen2 because the schematic lights and the almost stop lamp dimensions are the same. So what about the carrying capacity? The answer is quite good. Due to the size of the back tub is quite large compared to other competitors so it can fit a lot of luggage. In order to protect the scratches against the tub area, Chevrolet also helped equip Colorado with a drop in bed liner, a layer made of black plastic material.
